a little about us...

HOW IT ALL STARTED...

Wild Daes Designs was born when two like minded women decided to embark on a wild adventure together doing what they love most and helping others dreams come true.

Courtney and Sophie have known each other since the second grade, and although they have lived several hours apart for many years, they have formed a sisterly bond that most women only dream of. Oh, and just so happens they have the same favorite flower... the Daisy!

a little history...

The Daisy received its name from the old English phrase 'daes eage' or 'day's eye' which refers to the way that daisies close their petals in the evening and open back up at dawn, and is where Wild Daes Designs got its name.

what we stand for...

As two incredibly hard working, detail oriented and artistic women, we take so much pride in our work and strive to make sure that our clients are taken care of to the best of our abilities. Wild Daes Designs was created to embody all that the Daisy symbolizes and bring those characteristics into the wild journey of planning a wedding.

Courtney

Courtney developed her love for nature and the outdoors at a very young age helping her mother in the garden. She attended college at Texas Tech University from 2012-2018, where she studied Landscape Architecture and Business. Unable to complete her degree, she went on to own and operate her very own landscape design company for a couple of years,. She has since led a great career as a high-end residential and commercial landscape designer with almost nine years under her belt. Courtney found her passion for floral design along the way working with nurseries and having been blessed enough to get her hands dirty creating art with seasonal flowers and planters for many clients. Having clients trust her to make the exterior of their homes beautiful and seeing their reactions when she would  bring their visions to life has brought her so much joy throughout her career.

"Every girl has a vision of their wedding day being the most magical and beautiful day of their life. I was  lucky though, I had the pleasure of designing and creating my own wedding florals. Although it was so much work, more than most brides would want to do on the biggest day of their life, I LOVED every second of it. After all of the bouquets and arrangements were finished, as soon as I placed the last stem in my arch, I knew immediately that wedding florals was what I wanted to do... that floral design was my calling." - Courtney

Sophia

Sophie developed a love for gardening at a young age when she would go out to her grandmothers garden and help pick produce to cook for dinner that night. Sophie is a devoted wife and stay at home mom to five beautiful children. With her creativity and entrepreneurial skills, she started her very own hand made candle company a couple years ago and continues to grow in her craft. When Sophie isn't busy homeschooling her kids, she is out in the garden or hand crafting candles for clients! She is very detail oriented, creative and enjoys using her down time to expand her gift at floral arrangements.

"It is so therapeutic to work with my hands and create something for someone else. I absolutely love making others happy through being creative."  - Sophie
